Kendrick Lamar just set the record straight—and added some lyrical heat—on his surprise new album GNX.

On the track “Wacced Out Murals,” Dot tackles the controversy surrounding his selection as the 2025 Super Bowl Halftime Show performer, a move that left Lil Wayne and fans fuming.

“I used to bump Tha Carter III, I held my Rollie chain proud/The irony I think my hard work let Lil Wayne down,” Kendrick raps, delivering a mix of respect and sharp commentary. He goes on to address the fallout, adding, “Won the Super Bowl and Nas the only one congratulate me, all these n*ggas agitated/I’m just glad they showing they faces.”

The track directly references Lil Wayne’s very public disappointment over not being chosen for the halftime slot in his hometown of New Orleans. Earlier this month, Wayne didn’t hold back during his Lil Weezyana Festival, calling the missed opportunity a personal gut punch. The decision to go with Kendrick over Wayne has sparked heated debates in the hip-hop world, dividing fans and artists alike.
