The Game is facing serious financial heat after losing his bid to block the sale of his Calabasas mansion to cover a $7 million default judgment in a sexual assault case brought by accuser Priscilla Rainey. Despite multiple attempts to shield his assets, the courts aren’t letting the rapper off the hook.

According to court documents obtained by AllHipHop, U.S. District Judge Mark C. Scarsi ruled against The Game’s motion to dismiss the order to sell his home. The judge also canceled a planned January 6, 2025, hearing that was set to address his objections, solidifying the court’s decision to move forward with the sale.

“An order to show cause why an order for sale of a dwelling should not be made is pending,” Judge Scarsi wrote. “The Court deems the motion appropriate for decision without oral argument. The Court takes off calendar the hearing on the motion set for January 6, 2025.”

The Game, born Jayceon Terrell Taylor, claimed he was never served proper legal documents related to the case, stating, “No individual delivered any court papers to me on August 22, 2024, at any location.” He further alleged he only learned about the order from media reports, not from official channels.

This ruling is the latest legal blow for The Game, who has been battling to avoid paying the judgment awarded to Rainey. The case stems from a 2015 lawsuit where Rainey accused the rapper of sexually assaulting her during the filming of his VH1 reality show, She’s Got Game.

Adding to his troubles, The Game recently suffered a $100,000 loss in a car burglary in Los Angeles, marking another streak of bad luck for the rapper.

With the sale of his Calabasas home looming, it seems The Game is running out of options to avoid the hefty judgment.
