Cardi B Drops $2 Million on Self-Care Shopping Spree Amid Divorce Drama

Cardi B isn’t letting her recent divorce from Offset slow her down—she’s hitting the designer stores and treating herself like the queen she is. The Grammy-winning rapper revealed on X/Twitter Spaces that she dropped $2 million in October alone on gifts for herself. From high-end jewelry to luxury bags, Cardi made it clear she’s putting herself first.

“In October alone, I spent about $2 million just on my gifts I bought for myself,” Cardi shared. “Because you know what? I’m divorced, I’m single, and shopping makes me feel good.”

The shopping spree came up while Cardi was addressing complaints from fans about the delay of her much-anticipated sophomore album. Despite not dropping an album since Invasion of Privacy in 2018, Cardi assured everyone that her bank account is far from hurting, thanks to her insane concert fees.

“I get paid $1.5 million to do shows in America, depending on the venue. If the venue is big, I gotta get $2 million. If I’m going out of the state, I’m getting $2.5 million,” Cardi explained.

She then broke down just how much her glamorous lifestyle costs. “I pay my nanny for my baby $700 a day. Every single time I step out just hair and makeup is about $4,000, $5,000, depending on the length of the fcking hair. My outfits don’t even be less than fcking $8,000. Just so I can step out of the house, let’s make that clear.”

As for the album? Cardi promised it’s coming, though fans might need to hold onto their patience a little longer. “It’s gonna come, and everything is gonna make sense,” she vowed. “I know I say that all the time, but I swear that on everything. I have no choice but to put it the f*ck out.” Earlier this year, Cardi hinted the album would drop before 2025, but she recently admitted that this has been “the weirdest year I have ever experienced.”

Cardi B is clearly taking the time she needs to focus on herself, her family, and her craft. And while fans might have to wait for new music, they can’t deny the Bronx icon is living life on her terms.
