Kanye West is back at it, defying expectations and keeping fans guessing with his latest project.

On November 27, the polarizing rapper released a music video for his track “Bomb,” enlisting his children, North and Chicago West, alongside quirky rapper Yuno Miles. While some are calling the video a fun family affair, others are scratching their heads over Kanye’s decision to take a backseat.

“Bomb” is a bizarre listen. The beat carries a choppy, trap-inspired vibe that feels more like a parody than a serious track. Yuno Miles delivers his signature goofy bars, rapping about “fritos” and “tacos,” while North and Chicago try their hand at rapping. North, who’s shown an interest in music before with her feature on the VULTURES 1 track “Once Again,” gives it her best shot, but the verses feel more like a playful experiment than a polished performance.

The music video amps up the absurdity, with North and Chicago driving through a desert in what appears to be a chaotic, pod-racing-inspired competition. Yuno Miles joins in, racing against colorful, animated creatures. While the video is undeniably whimsical, Kanye’s absence from the mic is glaring. He doesn’t drop a single verse, opting instead to stay behind the scenes as a producer.

Unfortunately, the beat doesn’t do much to elevate the track. It feels like an outtake from Kanye’s VULTURES sessions, which weren’t exactly hailed as his finest work. Fans are left hoping that Kanye’s upcoming album BULLY will see the rapper return to the thoughtful, groundbreaking artistry that once defined him.

Whether Bomb is a creative experiment or simply Kanye letting his kids have some fun in the spotlight, reactions are mixed. Some fans appreciate the family vibes, while others are wondering where the Kanye they know and love has gone.
