After Jake Paul’s unanimous decision win over Mike Tyson earlier this month, boxing fans are already speculating about who might step into the ring with the YouTuber-turned-fighter next. Enter Ryan Garcia, who made it clear on “The Ariel Helwani Show” that he’s ready to take on Paul and promises to deliver fireworks.

“It would be huge,” Garcia said, addressing his desire to fight Jake. “Everywhere I go, people are asking me to fight Jake Paul. I’ve got to give the people what they want—that’s what I’m used to doing.”

Garcia, currently serving a year-long suspension for testing positive for a banned substance before his fight with Devin Haney, won’t be eligible to box professionally until April 2025. Still, he’s wasting no time making headlines. Garcia was rumored to face Rukiya Anpo in an exhibition match in Tokyo on December 30, but Golden Boy Promotions quickly shot down those plans, stating, “No such sign-off has been given, as of today there is no event with Ryan Garcia.”

Garcia’s beef with Anpo stems from a previous exhibition match with Manny Pacquiao. “I saw this dude way bigger than Manny Pacquiao and way younger, just trying to beat up on him,” Garcia said. “If they give me a chance, I’ll knock this dude out.”

Now, Garcia is turning his focus to Jake Paul, claiming that his feelings about Paul mirror his sentiments toward Anpo. “He was trying to beat up on Uncle Mike (Tyson),” Garcia said. “The same way I feel about Manny Pacquiao, the same way I feel about this.”

Despite the size difference—Paul weighed in at 227 pounds for his fight with Tyson, while Garcia typically fights at around 135 to 140 pounds—Garcia is undeterred. He even pointed to the Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul bout as a precedent. “If Jake fights the way he fought with Mike, I genuinely believe I would knock him out within four or five rounds,” Garcia declared. “I kind of gave birth to his boxing career, so I’m here to end it.”

The question now is whether Paul, who’s been making waves in the boxing world with his unorthodox rise, will accept Garcia’s challenge. With both fighters eager to prove their dominance, this match could become one of the biggest spectacles in recent boxing history.

What do you think—can Ryan Garcia deliver on his knockout promise, or will Jake Paul’s size and power be too much to handle? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
