Britney Spears is making major moves—literally. On her 43rd birthday, the pop icon shared an Instagram video revealing that she has relocated to Mexico to get away from the relentless paparazzi.

“It really kind of hurts my feelings that the paparazzi make my face look like I’m wearing, like, a white Jason mask,” Britney explained in the video. “It doesn’t even look like me.”

The “Till the World Ends” singer went on to express frustration with the media’s portrayal of her over the years. “They’ve always been incredibly cruel to me, the paparazzi in pictures and the way they’ve illustrated me to be in some of it,” she said. “I know I’m not perfect at all by any means, but some of it is extremely mean and cruel.”

Concluding her message, Britney revealed her reason for the move: “And that’s why I’ve moved to Mexico.”

Earlier in the day, TMZ captured photos of Britney arriving in Cabo San Lucas. Dressed in a white trench coat, black hat, and sunglasses, she was all smiles as she touched down in her new home away from home.

The move marks a significant shift for Britney, who has faced intense scrutiny and media coverage throughout her career. With this fresh start, the pop star seems intent on finding peace and reclaiming her narrative.
