Snoop Dogg isn’t holding back when it comes to celebrating his daughter Cori Broadus’ wedding. The iconic rapper revealed on The Jennifer Hudson Show that he went all out for Cori’s big day, dropping a jaw-dropping $1 million on a wedding gift.
“It was a million dollars,” Snoop told a stunned audience. “You know what? It’s the truth.” While the generous gesture left fans in awe, there’s a twist—Cori hasn’t even opened the extravagant gift yet! “The only thing about this gift is she never got to open it or she hasn’t opened it yet,” Snoop shared, laughing off the surprising detail.
The Drop It Like It’s Hot hitmaker also confessed he initially tried to convince Cori to scale down the wedding to save some cash. “I told her if it was me, my wedding would have been $100 [thousand] and $900 [thousand] would have gone in my pocket,” he joked.
Despite the jokes, Snoop spoke highly of his new son-in-law, Wayne Deuce, calling him the perfect match for Cori. “As a father, one thing you know is when it’s your baby girl. You ain’t gonna hand her off to nobody who ain’t gonna handle her with care,” Snoop said, giving his blessing to the couple.
The entire journey to the altar is being chronicled in the new E! series Snoop’s Fatherhood: Cori and Wayne’s Story, which premiered on December 2. Fans can expect plenty of laughs, heartfelt moments, and classic Snoop antics as the family celebrates this milestone event.
