“Shazam!” star Zachary Levi and his girlfriend Maggie Keating are preparing for a life-changing adventure: parenthood! The happy couple announced they are expecting their first child together, sharing their excitement with fans on Instagram.
Levi posted a sonogram of their “little bundle of joy” alongside a photo of Maggie smiling as she embraced him. In the heartfelt caption, Levi opened up about his lifelong dream of becoming a father. “I’ve always felt incomplete without the love and responsibility that comes with being a dad,” he wrote, describing the journey he began last November to improve his mental and physical health while searching for love—a journey that ultimately brought him to Maggie.
Although the couple doesn’t yet know the baby’s gender, Levi encouraged fans to send in potential names for their “little bambino,” making it clear they are savoring every step of the experience.
While Levi celebrates this joyous chapter, he’s also faced recent backlash from the Broadway community. The actor came under fire for comments he made regarding the death of Tony-winning actor Gavin Creel, mistakenly linking his passing to a COVID vaccine. Creel’s cause of death was later confirmed to be cancer.
Amid the controversy, Levi’s focus remains on his growing family, sharing moments of joy with fans as they await their little one’s arrival.
