Jamie Foxx is back, and he’s not holding anything back. The actor and comedian, who recently recovered from a life-threatening stroke caused by a brain bleed, opened up about his health scare and his personal life in his new Netflix special, Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was….

Foxx didn’t shy away from cracking jokes about his recovery, even using humor to address his dating preferences. “Sisters, I’m here to tell you I’ve been cured. I’ve been cured of everything,” Foxx said during the special. “No more white girls. I’m serious; no more white girls. No more. No more white girls. I’m back on the Black side of town!”

He continued the bit with his signature musical flair, singing, “No more potato salad and raisins. No more white girls! No more spray tan, no more big titties, no ass, no more white girls, I gotta let ‘em know!” He ended the comedic moment with a nod to Black History Month, adding, “My life gonna be February all year long. No more white girls—in public.”

Foxx’s dating history has often been a topic of interest. He famously dated actress Katie Holmes from 2013 to 2019 and has two children with previous partners Connie Kline and Kristin Grannis. In recent years, he was rumored to be linked with Alyce Huckstepp after being spotted with her in Cannes, France, in 2022.

The special also marked the first time Foxx detailed the medical emergency that nearly took his life. “April 11, I was having a bad headache, and I asked my boy for an aspirin. I realized quickly that when you’re in a medical emergency, your boys don’t know what the f— to do,” he joked. Foxx revealed that he blacked out for 20 days during the ordeal, but his sense of humor remained intact throughout his recovery.
