Kristen Bell is set to take center stage once again, as she’s been announced as the host of the 31st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, streaming live on Netflix on February 23, 2025. This marks the second time the “Nobody Wants This” actress will host the star-studded event, having previously taken on the role in 2018.

“Thrilled to be hosting the SAG Awards again this year,” Kristen shared in a statement, via Deadline. “I’m honored to be asked back and can’t wait to share the evening with my fellow actors, doing what we do best … celebrating ourselves.”

The ceremony will broadcast from the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles, where Hollywood’s finest will gather to honor the year’s top performances in film and television. The nominations for this year’s awards are set to be revealed on January 8, 2025, building anticipation for what promises to be an unforgettable evening.

Adding to the excitement, an iconic actress—whose identity is yet to be revealed—will be receiving the prestigious SAG Life Achievement Award during the ceremony, a fitting tribute to their extraordinary career.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
