Patrick Mahomes Prepares for Baby No. 3 Amid NFL Season Drama

Patrick Mahomes has his hands full this holiday season—and it’s not just football. The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback revealed in a Netflix interview on Christmas Day that his wife, Brittany Mahomes, is due to give birth to their third child “any day now.”

Already proud parents to 3-year-old daughter Sterling and 2-year-old son Bronze, the couple is gearing up for the arrival of their newest family member. Patrick admitted he’s been stressing Brittany out with his intense NFL season. “I got to try to not put so much stress on her through these football games,” he confessed.

Patrick’s fingers are crossed that the baby arrives during a “bye” week when the Chiefs aren’t playing. “Hopefully God works the right way and we can have that baby maybe on the bye week somewhere, and then everything will work out perfectly,” he shared.

Despite her pregnancy, Brittany hasn’t slowed down. She and Patrick recently took their kids to meet Santa and even hit up Taylor Swift’s “Eras” tour wrap party, rubbing elbows with Swift and Patrick’s teammate Travis Kelce. Brittany posted snaps from the star-studded bash, where Kelce rocked the same black tuxedo and top hat he wore during his surprise London concert appearance.

In the Netflix clip, Patrick couldn’t resist poking fun at Kelce’s acting pursuits, joking about what to gift him for Christmas. “Maybe some acting lessons,” he quipped, referring to Kelce’s roles in Ryan Murphy’s mini-series and the upcoming Happy Gilmore 2 with Adam Sandler.
