Drake’s Drizzmas Giveaway stream with Adin Ross on December 26 wasn’t just about handing out gifts—it also gave fans insight into the rapper’s deeper philanthropic ambitions. While speaking with Ross, Drake revealed he once pitched a TV show to Amazon founder Jeff Bezos inspired by his iconic 2018 “God’s Plan” music video.

“You see what we’re doing tonight?” Drake said during the livestream. “This is a thing that I wanted to do ever since I shot that [‘God’s Plan’] video. I asked Jeff Bezos… The word I got back is that he didn’t want to do it. I want to do ‘God’s Plan: The TV Show.’ Ten episodes a year. I want to travel across the world. I know there’s a lot of billionaires out there, people who have a lot of money, who don’t have a chance to put a face to their charitable actions.”

The concept, as Drake described, would follow wealthy individuals giving back to those in need, combining philanthropy with global storytelling. Despite the rejection from Bezos, the idea showcases Drake’s ongoing commitment to making a difference, much like his viral music video where he gave away $1 million to Miami residents.

While fans speculate about Drake’s next moves, including rumors of a surprise performance at Vybz Kartel’s New Year’s Eve bash in Jamaica, the OVO leader remains focused on his ambitions. Whether or not “God’s Plan: The TV Show” finds a home with another network, Drake’s dedication to philanthropy continues to shine.
