2 Chainz is kicking off 2025 with big plans, revealing that three new albums are on the way, with two of them nearly finished.
In a bold New Year’s Eve post, the rapper and business mogul teased fans with what’s next for his career. “Now it’s 2025, I’m about to put the music with the madness,” he declared, hinting at a fresh creative chapter that aligns with his booming business ventures.
Addressing his critics, he made it clear he’s ready to dominate: “We’re going to ball the humble stuff up and throw it out the window because some of y’all done bumped your heads thinking you can mess with this campaign.”
The announcement follows a wildly successful 2024 for 2 Chainz, who took time to reflect on his accomplishments. “Quick little 2024 recap,” he shared. “Very thankful for the year. Business is definitely booming.” Among the highlights, he touted Candyland, his Atlanta nightlife hotspot, as the “best vibe in the city.”
He also gave a nod to his role as a minority owner of the College Park Skyhawks, the G-League affiliate of the Atlanta Hawks, expressing pride in the team’s recent wins. “It’s been great to see the progress. Proud to be part of it,” he added.
2 Chainz’s last solo album, Dope Don’t Sell Itself, dropped in 2022 and featured heavy-hitters like Lil Baby, Roddy Ricch, and Moneybagg Yo. His 2023 collaborative project, Welcome 2 Collegrove, with Lil Wayne marked his final release under Def Jam Records. Now, as an independent artist, 2 Chainz is gearing up to make 2025 one for the books.
With three albums lined up and his empire thriving, 2 Chainz seems ready to elevate his game in every way. The rapper’s fans are already eager to see what’s in store, and if his words are anything to go by, the “madness” is only just beginning.
